The short answer
LuLu is a big grocery chain with stores in all six GCC countries. Its loyalty programme is called LuLu Happiness, and it is free to join. Members get points, member prices and instant discounts. Offers change by country and often by city, so check the flyer for your own area.
Quick facts
Where LuLu operates
LuLu Hypermarket is part of LuLu Group International. Its retail arm describes hypermarkets, supermarkets and smaller neighbourhood stores serving customers across the GCC.
LuLu Retail lists stores in all six countries: the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. LuLu's own site blocked us, so this comes from search results quoting LuLu Retail. Times Kuwait reported the Happiness launch in Kuwait in June 2024, and Muscat Daily reported it in Oman in November 2024. The Peninsula says it passed 1 million members in Qatar in June 2026. Prices and offers are set country by country, so a UAE deal may not apply in Doha or Muscat.

- Qatar: Happiness passed 1 million members in June 2026

- Saudi Arabia and Bahrain: stores listed, but we found no Happiness details
Weekly offers and flyers
LuLu publishes catalogues for its offers, and the names change with the season. As an example, a Happiness Week catalogue for Abu Dhabi and Al Ain ran from 1 to 15 October and covered 48 branches, according to the flyer site WowDeals. A separate catalogue was listed for Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
That tells you two things. First, flyers can run for a week or two, not always seven days. Second, the catalogue can be specific to a region, so open the one that matches the branch you will visit.
The LuLu app also lists daily deals and promotions, as its App Store listing says. In the shop, shelf labels show the offer price and the usual price, so you can see the saving.
LuLu Happiness loyalty programme
The programme is called LuLu Happiness. Times Kuwait and Muscat Daily say members earn points on purchases, get bonus points on selected Happiness products, and get instant discounts and member prices.
Joining is free. Times Kuwait says you can scan a QR code or use the link to sign up at happiness.luluhypermarket.com. Muscat Daily says you can also register at any LuLu outlet. Points can be redeemed at LuLu outlets, and the LuLu Shopping app lets members see points, manage vouchers and view receipts.
We could not confirm how many points you earn per dirham, riyal or dinar, or what a point is worth. Check the programme terms and the app for the current rate.
Ordering online and the app
The LuLu Hypermarket app lists groceries, fresh food, electronics, mobiles, beauty, home, baby products and appliances. Its App Store listing describes quick delivery in minutes, scheduled delivery at a time you pick, real-time order tracking and several payment methods.
Reviewers on the listing mention some problems, such as product substitutions and slow customer service. When you order fresh food, read the substitution settings before you confirm, and check the bags when they arrive.
Delivery fees, minimum baskets and delivery areas differ by country. Look at the checkout page before you build a big basket.
Tips for saving at LuLu
Write your list from the flyer, not from the aisle.
- Join Happiness before your big monthly shop, so the points and member prices count.
- Pick the catalogue for your own region and read the dates on the front page.
- Compare per kilo and per litre. A big pack is not always cheaper per unit.
- Look at shelf labels for member prices, then check the price again at the till.
- Plan staples such as rice, oil and cleaning products around the offer weeks.
- Keep your receipts until you have checked the basket total.
Cards at the till
Bank card offers at LuLu vary by country and by issuer, and they often have a minimum spend or a monthly cap. Read the terms from your bank before you rely on them. Many people do better by using the card with the highest cashback for groceries and still scanning the Happiness card.

How Fawz helps
Fawz is not released yet, and you can join the waiting list. When it is out, it compares supermarket flyer prices, so you can see where an item is cheapest before you go to LuLu or somewhere else.
At the till, Fawz suggests which of your cards or memberships to use. It also tracks minimum monthly spend and caps, so your grocery shop helps you reach a higher cashback rate. It never stores card numbers or bank logins and never reads SMS.
