Quick facts

Where Carrefour operates

Majid Al Futtaim runs Carrefour in the Gulf. We could confirm stores in the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Khaleej Times (18 September 2025) reports that Carrefour closed in Oman on 7 January 2025, in Bahrain on 14 September 2025 and in Kuwait on 16 September 2025. In those three countries Majid Al Futtaim now runs HyperMax, its own grocery brand. If you live in Muscat, Manama or Kuwait City, look for HyperMax instead.

The exits do not cover the UAE, Qatar or Saudi Arabia.

Offers and flyers

Carrefour runs weekly offers and bigger campaigns. Carrefour Qatar has a weekly offers page on its online store. The flyer site WowDeals listed a Qatar deals catalogue until 6 October.

Offers are set for each country, and sometimes for each format, such as hypermarket or Carrefour Market. Check the format on the cover of the flyer before you travel to a branch.

In Qatar, Qatar Living says Carrefour MyClub shows member-only prices directly on shelf labels, and personal coupons come through the app. The discount is applied at checkout rather than collected as points.

SHARE rewards

SHARE is the Majid Al Futtaim rewards programme. Its site says you scan your SHARE ID at Carrefour to earn points on your purchases, and you can earn online by logging in with your SHARE details.

SHARE also lets you set up a family group of up to nine members to pool points, and send points to other members in the app.

Majid Al Futtaim launched SHARE in Saudi Arabia in May 2026. We could not confirm what a point is worth or how many points you earn per spend, so check the app.

The MAF Carrefour app

The app covers groceries, electronics, beauty, baby products and home items. Its App Store listing describes delivery in 60 minutes on eligible items with Carrefour NOW, scheduled delivery for larger orders, and both SHARE and MyCLUB memberships. It is in English and Arabic.

Delivery fees and minimum orders differ by country, so read them at checkout. One reviewer says it is hard to reach support through the app.

Tips for saving at Carrefour

  • Scan your SHARE ID before you pay.
  • In Qatar, check shelf labels for MyClub member prices.
  • Read the dates and the format on the flyer.
  • Compare the price per kilo or litre, not the headline price.
  • Use express delivery only when you need it, and plan the big shop for scheduled delivery.

Using bank cards and offers

Card offers at Carrefour depend on your bank and your country. Many have a minimum spend and a monthly cap, so read the terms first.

How Fawz helps

Fawz is not released yet, and you can join the waiting list. When it is out, it compares supermarket flyer prices, so you can see whether Carrefour or another chain is cheapest for an item.

At the till, Fawz suggests which of your cards or memberships to use, and it tracks minimum monthly spend and caps, so your grocery shop helps you reach a better cashback rate. It never stores card numbers or bank logins and never reads SMS.
