What Priceless Specials is

Priceless is Mastercard's name for its cardholder experiences and offers. Priceless Specials is the part you use day to day. It is an app with discounts and buy one get one free offers at partner shops, restaurants, spas, gyms and attractions.

The FAQ we read says it is free and open to Mastercard debit and credit cardholders. It lists five card levels: Gold, Titanium, Platinum, World and World Elite. The FAQ is published on The Entertainer's site, which runs the app, so the bank or Mastercard may describe details a little differently.

Which countries

The FAQ lists the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon and South Africa. Qatar is not on that list. Mastercard's global Priceless site does have a Qatar page. It shows experiences in entertainment, travel, food, sports, arts and wellness, and asks you to create an account or log in for member benefits. It does not say which cards qualify or how to redeem, so check it directly.

How to redeem

The FAQ describes three steps:

1. Download the app and tell the merchant you want to use an offer.
2. Pick the offer in the app.
3. The merchant enters their PIN to finish the redemption.

Limits and rules to know

The app needs internet access, either Wi-Fi or mobile data. The payment must be made with a Mastercard card. The FAQ says offers stay valid for a year, from 2 January to 30 December, excluding specified public holidays.

It also says you can use up to 4 offers per transaction, with one offer per two people. Offers differ by merchant, so read each one in the app before you order.

Tips

• Open the offer before you order, not after. The merchant has to be told first.
• Pay with the Mastercard you registered. If you use a different card or cash, the offer will not apply.
• Offers are separate from your bank's cashback. Your bank's minimum spend, caps and excluded categories still apply to that spend, so check your card's terms.
• Check public holidays. The FAQ says some are excluded.

A note on other Mastercard offers

Mastercard and banks also run their own limited-time promotions, such as seasonal campaigns and airline or hotel deals. These have separate terms and dates. We could not open Mastercard's regional offers page, so we do not list specific ones here.
